Breast Biopsy
For your ultrasound-guided breast biopsy appointment, you should plan on being in the center for a couple of hours, which will include all pre- and post-procedure care. The procedure itself will take about 15 minutes.

The Bridging Care Program seeks to reduce patients’ worries and to improve care transitions. This program will initiate treatment in a quick and timely manner for patients who need it. It also encourages patients to re-connect with their primary care providers for additional support.

I was recently at Carol Milgard for a dexascan (bone scan), and they were efficient at check in, as well as friendly. They acknowledged that I was early to make sure I didn’t have the wrong appointment (I just do t like being late). The technician was clear in her instruction and answered my questions well. The results were in my chart within 3 hours! I was shocked. I think that’s unlikely in the future but I appreciated it this time! Clean facility too! -
